SEMI-PERMANANT EYELASH EXTESIONS
 Eyelash extensions lengthen, thicken and enhance your own natural eyelashes. Eyelash extensions are single strands of synthetic or silk eyelashes that come in different lengths, thicknesses and curl to suit the look you are after. The lashes are completly natural looking.
In a consultation with you we will find out what look you are after and I will make suggestions. We will choose the length and thickness you would like.
How dose it work? The lashes are individually placed one by one onto your own lashes. They are applied on the lashes and not the skin. How long dose the procedure take? Eyelash extensions take between 1-2 hours of application.
How long will they last for? Are they damaging to my own lashes?
Infills are required every 2-3 weeks. When cared for correctly eyelash extensions will last indefinitely with in-fills. Because the extension is attached to the natural hair they fall out as your eyelashes naturally shed. It also depends on the individuals lifestyle as to how long they will last. As they are attached to your individual lashes and not the skin, there is no opportunity for damage to the natural lash growth cycle or lashes. You may find when the lashes are removed that your own lashes are still the same thickness but have not grown to the usual lengh, one extensions are off, your new lashes will grow through as usual.
How often will I need infills? You will need infills when a number of the lashes have fallen out. Infills can be done every 2 to 3 weeks but you can decide when is convenient for you, as long as you have at least 50% of your existing eyelash extensions left, then it is still classes as an in-fill. Infill usually take between 30-60 mins.
Is the treatment painful? No. The procedure is so relaxing and comfortable that many clients fall asleep.
Is it ok to go swimming and shower with the eyelash extensions? After 24 hours your eyelash extensions are set, however to maximise the life of your lashes avoid direct contact with the harsh presure of your shower on the lashes and its best to wear goggles when swimming. Avoid steam rooms and saunas! Can I apply mascara to Eyelash Extensions? You dont need to wear mascara. There is a risk that the mascara you use could shorten the life of your lashes. If you must use mascara make sure it is water based and only use on the tips (never use oil or water proof mascara as it will damage the glue used to bond the lashes). This also goes for makeup remover; make sure it is always water based. Looking after your eyelash extensions? Do not get lashes wet for 24 hours after the servic and be very carefull for this time. Avoid hot steam or saunas. Avoid running water directly on your lashes Do not use eyelash curlers on the extensions. (this may cause them to fall out prematurely) Do not rub or pull your lashes (this may cause them to fall out prematurely) Avoid sleeping on your face Use water based eye makeup remover mascara can be applied to the tips only, USING WATER BASED MASCARA only Treat your lashes with care AND ENJOY!!!!!!
